This position includes answering questions about the library and its resources by phone and in person. You will help people use the online catalog, the electronic indexes to journal articles and the microform reader/printers. Also included is the processing and shelving of journals, newspapers and microforms. You will receive a significant amount of ongoing paid training that will help you learn about the library as you assist others.
MUST have availability between 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 during the quarter.
You must be able to work evening, weekend, and daytime shifts on a quarterly fixed schedule through the end of academic year. The last evening shifts extended until 12:00 a.m.
Work Study students- Must be an NU undergraduate with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the current year.
