Provide assistance to patrons at the Library’s Information Commons. Orient users to the library, answer directional and informational questions by phone and in person, instruct and assist patrons in the use of the online catalog, computer databases, and the internet. Provide basic maintenance and troubleshooting of computers and printers. Provide basic assistance with Microsoft Office programs. Handle vending machine refunds, and serve as contact person for various library-wide services and informational functions. This position involves a significant amount of required, paid training.
Current shifts available: Mon - 10:00 am - 3:00 pm and/or Thu 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm other hours as needed.
