Employment information for NON Work-Study Students
Jobs for undergraduate and graduates who do not receive funds from the federal subsidized Work/Study Program.
To learn about and apply for any of these jobs:
- Come to the Library Personnel Office (located in the main Library at 1970 Campus Drive, main floor - see map)
- View the job listings on the bulletin board outside of the office or on the web
- Select the position (s) of interest
- Complete application
- Give application to Library Personnel Staff
- Schedule an interview
- When hired bring application back to the Library Personnel Office
Completing the Hiring Process (items required after hiring)

- Visa paperwork (i.e. I-20, IAP-66, etc)
- Social Security Card (see: How to Apply For, Replace, Correct, or Change Your Name on Your Social Security Card).
Timekeeping
The Library uses a electonic timekeeping system for recording student hours. Student workers scan their NU Wildcard at a timeclock at the beginning and end of each work period. If you replace or renew your Wildcard, you MUST report the new number (all 14 digits) to the Library Personnel Office, if this is not reported you will receive a message when you clock in " Invalid Employee" your clock-in will not register.
