Library Services - Champaign, IL Area

Remember to call the library for hours of access and other pertinent information.

Since so many students in the Champaign SPSC class come from outlying areas, the best resource to use for searching library catalogs online is ILLINET, a consortium of academic libraries throughout the state. Go to the site listed here, choose the institution you will be visiting, or choose to search all the libraries at once. This way, you will be able to identify local copies of the books and articles you have found on TRANweb, NCJRS and the other catalogs and periodical indexes we reviewed in class. You can also check to see which libraries have the proprietary databases you will need, such as ABI/Inform, Academic Universe, Wilson Full Text and others demonstrated in class.
