Renovations coming to Deering Library

This June, the Libraries will begin a project to improve Deering Library’s high-profile public spaces while adding a new elevator and updating restrooms. These enhancements will make Deering an even more active and accessible center for research, study, and events. Work will conclude in late summer 2025. During construction, public entry to Deering may be limited, though staff will be able to retrieve books and research materials upon request.

We look forward to celebrating with you in the new space when the work is completed. A sneak peek at the renovated Deering can be seen in renderings in this issue.
