Reference and Instruction

Russ Clement, Head of the Art Collection, welcomes opportunities for individual and group research assistance, instruction, and consultation. Please contact him to set up an appointment.

Equipment

Three public search computer workstations, standard and color photocopiers, a scanning station with Photoshop CS3, and standard and color printers are available in the Martin Reading Room. Both reading rooms are equipped with wireless access to the NU network and outlets for laptops.

Study Carrels in the Art Research Center

Study carrels in the Art Research Center adjacent to the Art Collection reading rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis for faculty and graduate students in Art History. To apply for a carrel, please ask at the Art Desk. Carrels are administered by the Library Privileges Office and subject to the same regulations.

Slides and Scanning

To borrow slides or find digital images, please visit the Visual Media Collection. To digitize images, audio, or video materials, please consult Digital Collections.
