Requesting a Book

The great majority of our titles are cataloged and their records may be located on NUsearch. Our books DO NOT CIRCULATE and must be used within the Jens Nyholm Reading Room. To request an item simply fill out one of our call slips and give it to a staff member at our reference desk to be paged. Typical turn-around time is less than five minutes. The number of works you may use simultaneously may be limited. Works you wish to consult again in the near future will be held on our hold shelf upon your request.

Class Visits

Instructors wishing to use our materials during class sessions may schedule the use of our Joseph Spear Beck Angling Room. The room can accomodate groups of up to about 16 people and allows for group discussion in a comfortable setting. The instructor must be present during these sessions and various security protocols respected. Reservations must be made in advance by contacting one of our staff.
