Clip Making

The Multimedia Center has a self-service clip making station for faculty and students to utilize. A patron may copy clips of up to 10% of the whole length of an original title onto a 1/2" NTSC VHS tape that the patron must provide. This service is meant for faculty and students doing presentations within the provisions of US copyright law.

All video titles in our collection used for clips must be checked out to the user with a valid borrower's card.

Clips can only be digitized in Digital Collections for faculty and teaching TAs. Please contact them directly to inquire about their use policies and turnover time for requests.
