The Transportation Library offers three major services.

Reference, including ready reference,
extended reference, bibliographic instruction, information literacy
instruction and live/chat reference. A distinction is made between
the level of service that can be provided for the Northwestern
University community and for non-Northwestern patrons.
Document Delivery, including
borrowing from other institutions for
our Northwestern University patrons and
loaning items from the Transportation Library
to patrons all over the world.
Current Awareness, including
the provision of current tables-of-contents and the transmittal
of e-journal articles which have been requested by the faculties
of the Transportation Center and the Center for Public Safety.
