PURPOSE AND AUDIENCE
TRANLIB is a discussion list for library and information professionals in the field of transportation. Members of the Transportation Division of the Special Libraries Association are its primary audience, but librarians and other information professionals in transportation and related fields are welcome.

CONTENT
TRANLIB is a forum for the discussion and exchange of information regarding library collections, services and operations. Requests for assistance or referral, announcements, and other items of interest to transportation librarians are encouraged.
Current information about the Transportation Division and its committees' activities will also be reported to the list.

TRANLIB messages sent prior to July 1, 2007, while the list was hosted at Northwestern University are archived at http://www.its.berkeley.edu/library/tranlib/index.html.
