Other Africana resources on the Internet:

Much material on Africa is now available through the Web. Recommended are the following two gateways to Africana Internet sources:

Africa South of the Sahara: Selected Internet Sources, prepared by Karen Fung of the Hoover Institute Library, Stanford University. Excellent searchable guide frequently updated.

African Studies on the Internet, prepared by Ali Dinar of the University of Pennsylvania, this guide covers many important resources on Africa as well as information on the African Studies Association.

Union List of African Newspapers Project: Electronic Newspapers of Sub-Saharan Africa. Available on the Columbia University, African Studies web page, this listing of African newspapers available on the web is very useful. It is collected in preparation for a major effort of the Africana Librarians Council to prepare a union list of all holdings of African newspapers in this country.
