Customized files for NU users (NU Toolkit)

The NU Toolkit is a package of customized files that you will be prompted to install when you download EndNote from E-Academy. Updated files are available here when they become available.

Connection Files allow you to connect directly to remote databases using EndNote's built in search function. These customized files allow NU users to connect to subscription databases. The NUcat and TRANweb files are available to anyone.

Import Filters allow records from databases to be formatted, then imported into an EndNote library. Import filters are valuable when no connection files or direct export options are available. Filters are available here for a handful of popular databases that don't support connection files or direct support.

Styles are used to format the appearance of references in citations and bibliographies.

Direct Export to EndNote is available in a growing number of databases.

Many more Connection Files, Import Filters and Styles are included with EndNote, and can also be downloaded from the official EndNote web site.
