DIGITAL INSTRUCTION AND PUBLIC SERVICES ASSISTANT

This position provides training and support to faculty and graduate student digital lab users on a variety of software and digitization equipment; assists in the creation and upkeep of training materials, department website and promotional materials; provides reception for Digital Collections patrons--including routing requests and answering questions regarding lab use and production services.

LIBRARY ASSISTANT I (Job Opening ID: 15221)

This part time, temporary position, performs check-in of newly received periodicals and claiming activities for serials titles; creates bibliographic records, copy holdings, and purchase orders for firm-ordered, notification slip or approval materials. This position ends August 31, 2010.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I (Job Opening ID: 15071)

This part time position provides support to the members of the Academic Laison Services department and to the Disciplinary Coordinators Group; coordinates closely with University Library Administrative office and other support staff to accomplish tasks.

LIBRARY ASSISTANT II (Job Opening ID: 15168)

This full time position in the Preservation Department prepares materials for the commercial bindery, reviews the quality of work upon return, and performs the required bibliographic control work. The assistant also prepares materials for shipment to microfilming and mass de-acidification vendors and may assist on special project such as collection surveys.
