Lockers
Lockers are available for the storage of personal items in University and Mudd Libraries.
Day-use Lockers
Lockers on the first floor of University Library and in Mudd Library are available for short-term storage. Day-use lockers are self-service and signage in the space has instructions for setting a 4-digit code.

Lockers are cleared out at the library’s close each day. Items left in lockers overnight will be brought to the Circulation Desk lost and found.

Only use one locker at a time.

No food, drink or other perishable item may be stored in lockers.

Northwestern Libraries are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Long-term Lockers
Lockers on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor of University Library are assigned annually in the fall. Assignments for lockers are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Long-term Locker Policies

Lockers can be assigned to faculty, staff, students and visiting scholars.

If no lockers are available when you apply, you will be added to a waiting list.

Assigned lockers must be renewed in September of each year over email.

Library materials must be checked out to the assigned patron’s account if stored in a locker.
