About the Transportation Library
Containing over 500,000 items, the Transportation Library's scope encompasses all modes of transportation including aviation, railroads, highway, maritime transportation, public transport, bicycle and pedestrian transportation and logistics. The multi-disciplinary collection combines engineering, design, civic planning, environmental studies, history, architecture, legal studies and more. The Transportation Library also holds one of the world’s largest and most complete collections of Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).
