Ver Steeg Faculty Lounge
Northwestern faculty and administrators can reserve the Ver Steeg faculty lounge for lectures, special receptions and other formal social events.

- Special Receptions
Limits
- Ver Steeg cannot be used for events attended primarily by students
- Per University Policy, Ver Steeg cannot be used for political fundraising or political campaigns
Room Layout
Ver Steeg includes:
- Move-able sectional couches and chairs
- 16 folding tables
- Lectern with microphone
- Restrooms (not ADA-compliant, accessible restrooms available (anchor link to accessibility services page, bathrooms section) in University Library)
- Sink and mini-fridge
- No additional furniture may be brought into the lounge
Audiovisual Equipment
Instructions for AV equipment are provided in the room. Library staff are unavailable to provide AV support.

Reserving the Ver Steeg Faculty Lounge
When reserving Ver Steeg, include in the notes section which room layout you need.
Library staff are not available to provide AV support or other services for events, including meeting caterers and cleaning.
You must follow all other policies and guidelines for set up, clean up, and space use found on Libraries Event Space.
