Accessing the Collections
Please consult with library staff regarding your research needs and make an appointment prior to visiting campus. Some materials are stored offsite and require extra time for retrieval.

Travel
O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport service international and domestic flights.
Northwestern’s Evanston campus is close to public transportation, including:
- CTA Purple Line
- CTA 201 Bus
- Metra Union Pacific North Line

Parking
Permits are required in all campus lots Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. Fees are assessed in parking garages Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.
South Campus Parking Garage is the closest on-campus lot to University and Deering Libraries.
Evanston street parking is paid by meter, with a strictly-enforced ticketing policy. The City of Evanston Parking site has more information on local garage parking space.
