Updated Elsevier contract brings changes to journal access

In response to financial challenges, Northwestern University Libraries is renegotiating our contract with Elsevier, a leading academic publisher. The new contract will bring changes to access for select titles included in our current subscription. For many Elsevier journals included in our current subscription, there will be no change in access. For some titles, Northwestern researchers will use a new rapid article delivery service for expedited access to articles. For other titles, researchers will request access via Interlibrary Loan.

Our goal during this transition to a new contract is to minimize disruption in access for the Northwestern community.
