Liaison Librarians and Specialists
Liaison librarians serve as the primary contact between the Libraries and Northwestern’s academic departments, programs, and schools. Liaison librarians support the Northwestern community by educating faculty, students, and staff on the collections and services that support research, teaching, and learning.
Northwestern Libraries also has librarians and specialists that can assist with technical expertise relevant across subject areas. Specialties include Copyright, Digital Humanities, Digital Publishing, First-Year Seminars, GIS/Spatial Analysis, Media, Open Education Resources, Research Data Management, Social Science Data, Special Collections and University Archives, and 3D Printing and Video Production.
